Islazul is the largest shopping centre within the city of Madrid, and one of the five largest in the Autonomous Community. The development has 250,000m² of built surface and opened its doors in the Madrid neighbourhood of Carabanchel in 2008. It has a gross rented area (SBA) of 90,000 square meters and around 175 commercial premises. In 2019, a remodelling project of the toilet areas designed by Cimbra Arquitectos was carried out. The project was inspired by nature and thanks to the combination of natural elements such as wood or vegetation, with the coverings and flooring supplied by Ferrcos, a space with a careful but functional aesthetic that transmits harmony.

A public space that fulfils its practical mission but without losing warmth, something that has been achieved through the coatings of Cedit.
